On occasion, we will set a day as a Random Acts of Kindness day where Free Basic members, who usually can only send online mails to ruby members, may log in and send online mails to free and sapphire members as well.
We set a Random Acts of Kindness day on Thanksgiving around noon, and we received this email from a member:
"Just wondering why you didn't send your usual email out telling everyone there was Random Acts of Kindness going on? I found out by accident."
The funny thing is, we don't have a "usual email" telling everyone. In fact, there are random acts of kindness and those who log in and use the site are the ones who deserve the benefit of it. Once in a while, we will send out a mail notice, but we are in no way obligated to send an advance notice and we often give out random acts of kindness without sending notices.
So, if you wish to benefit from these random acts, then use the site, send some smiles to new members, send a birthday smile to those with birthdays, and find out if there is a random act of kindness!
