I am 27 yrs old and have been widowed for almost 3 yrs. I would be interested in offering support to other widow/widowers and having support for myself. I belong to several widows support groups on yahoogroups. Anyone can contact me about them for more information if they are interested.

I have been a widow for 7 years, 2 months. At the age of 33 years old, my late husband died of an aortic aneurysym. We think it was due to Marfan Syndrome. I was 29 at the time, with a 15 month old son. It was very very difficult for me. I cried lots of tears.
Almost 6 years ago I was brought into the Seventh Day Adventist Sabbath message. This really has helped my growth tremendously as a Christian. I have never been so close to Jesus as I am now. I read my Bible and have so much more alone time with Him like never before.
A guy I went out with for 2 1/2 years told me about this web-site. I belonged to it for about 3 months, and then I decided that if the Lord really wanted me to meet someone that He would send someone my way.
Then I joined up again about 4 months ago.
It is the desire of my heart to be married again.
I really want the chance to love again. Plus, I have changed so much since I was widowed.
It is challenging because I don't think that unless one has ever lost a spouse that he/she can fully comprehend the magnitude.
My heart really goes out to those of you who have lost a spouse.
thanks for letting me share.
Please pray too for my future spouse and I. And pray that I can wait on Jesus. (This is the most difficult thing to do).

I have been widowed for 6 1/2 years. Early on family would sometimes ask if I wanted to remarry. I recall telling them that I was not feeling urgent about it, but never is a long time. As time has gone on, I began to feel more interest, lingering over ads for this site and other singles meeting possibilities. Finally just did it. My particular computer access or lack of it limits my participation so far, but I have enjoyed some correspondence, and getting a sense of those who are out there from reading profiles. When my computer access improves, I expect to be more active. I would be interested in a group and interaction on our experiences and thoughts. I hope that both men and women would participate.

Living in a small town gives very little possibility to find a Christian single man. Where does one go to meet in a Christian atmosphere. I am young at heart and wild in my heart, but my Lord is first and the testimony to those watching is important. Where I go and who I am seen with is vital to my Christian testimony. So....where does one go to meet Mr. Right?
This website provides friendship through the chat room and hopefully will led to meeting someone who loves the Lord.

Is anyone intersted in sharing about losing a spouse, and what brought you here, how you made this step. I lost my husband 13 months ago. He was just 46 y/o. I was almost 44. He passed on Christmas day, and it was expected. He had Leukemia for 2 years. We were married for 23+ years. This July would have been our 25th.
I actually was coaxed by a friend who had found this site. I didn't think I was ready, but for the most part, it has been pretty good. I wish more people would write back, it would be nice to have more friends out there.
I personally want to get married again someday. I want to spend plenty of time first getting to know that person.
What are your expectations, what are you here for? Are you a young widow/widower? There is a website for people like us, but it is not a Christian website, and although the people there are nice, sometimes the language they use is pretty foul.
Would anyone be interested in starting a group?
I look forward to meeting you.
God Bless you on your journey.
