Hey girl! take heart for the Lord is good. I know this is easily said than done but I am also a single parent and I am talking out of experience. My family is also miles away and I have had to raise my son single handedly. I would just urge you to focus on the solution which is Jesus and not the problem. Everytime you feel discouraged, say a prayer and confess with your mouth(positively) that you are more than a conqueror because it was done at the cross. Sometimes when the smoke is so thick for me, I just count my blessings and avoid focusing on the problem alone because this reminds me that the same Lord who gave me the blessings and took me out of trouble before will be with me till the end.
Sister, I just wonna encourage you to keep waiting up the Lord because He promises to renew our strength...He says we shall walk and not faint Isa40:31

I CAN ASSURE YOU HE IS THERE AND HE KNOWS ALL THAT IS GOING ON. I AM A SINGLE PARENT ALSO SO I KNOW HOW HARD IT IS. WHEN IT SEEMS AS THOUGH HE IS NOT AROUND HE IS ACTUALLY CARRING YOU. BE PATIENCE AND JOY COMES IN THE MORNING.

I find myself with this huge responsibility of parenting my children on my own. Family is distant and finances are scarce. It is easy to fall into depression. I am a little frightened of the future for my children and myself. I can no longer run from Jesus so I find myself looking for him in the people in our church, where is he I ask myself. Please pray for me and my children.
