Same here.....been there, done that.
I THINK (I'm not quite sure) that in my case I had to literally lay back and accept things. Once I did that, I IMMEDIATELY felt better!! I had to accept _myself_ despite having depression, despite having other problems, despite not having gone as far in life as I had wanted. It was a case of deciding not to worry about this culture's standards; after all, it was a case of a man with broken legs trying to run! If you can't have the life you originally wanted, you have to wait - and be at peace. You have to let your legs heal before you try to run on them, otherwise your legs won't heal right if at all.
If you're referring to stomach surgery for weight reduction, people who have had it say you still wind up having to monitor your diet. I'm eating salads to get rid of my weight, and contemplating going vegetarian as well...and I'm a person who doesn't like others telling him how to eat!!
God bless - and don't fret! The worry is like being in a rocking chair - it gives you something to do, but it leaves you tired and you don't get anywhere.

i like your responce however you are asking will god heal me this makes healing difficuult as you are wonering if god will do what he said thus he probly canot you say you are insicure if we doubt we do without gods blessings as we make it hard if not inposable for god to work in any situation will god asumes doubt and a blessing may be missed if doubt and insicurity are present we soeak negitivethings and expect to be blessed at the same time we question things we must watch what we say as we sometimes soeak into existance defeat and wonder why things go wrong or not as expected god canot work through negitivey we must expect the best for ourselves not question things unless god is telingus to remove the stumbling block not re-enforce it revdon

Well, I am a single mom of 2 children and I suffer with major depression which also causes physical illness like acne and cysts all over my body from stress and fibromyalgia which I have been told that causes the depression and weight gain.(Fibromialgia causes pains in your muscles and bones along with many other things)I am unable to work or go to school because of my low self esteem due to my appearance.I know I have some really beautiful qualities and features,but in this world my imperfections shine through.I have a routine of hours of piling on make up and checking in the mirror to make sure that my flaws aren't showing.But when I walk outside I know they are still there and that people can still see.I desperately want to find a godly husband, but I fear it will never happen.With me being so insecure my true personality can't shine through. I feel like I am being punished. I keep thinking of the things I did in my past before I gave my life to the Lord. I know I am forgiven,but I still have to reap what I sow right? Maybe if I would have taken better care of my body or... the list could go on.Please help and pray with any comments or suggestions .I am now preparing to undergo aggressive medical procedures as my last resort.Pray that it works and that I may be able to afford them.I would also like to be able to not have to take medication anymore for depression.Some people in my church say that he can even heal me of that.Why are't my prayers working?Am I being punished?I FEEL LIKE JOB!
