Hi Nanette,
I would like to give some info about fiancee visa that me and my husband used.
Fist..there should be meeting between the two..
My husband went to Philippines and see me, he stayed there for a month.
Second
He applied for my US fiancee visa in www.uscis.gov and paid about 180 dollars
December 22 of 2005 when he applied it, then April of the same year, immigrations informed him that it was approved for processing.
Third
Immigrations of US embassy send me a letter of my appointment in St. Luke's hospital for medical examinations..note..US is very particular with TB, Hepa B and C, Skin and most is HIV and also other contagious deseases..
Fourth...The interview..
Make sure that all documents are ready..
Affidavit of support (form can be found in uscis.gov
Bank account
Money transfer
e mails and other letters proving of relationship specially Mail via post office with dates on it.
Phone bills, all bills you had with her
pictures together and with some friends
must be sincere in answering all questions of the consul, must all the details of the relationship.
But most of all is the prayers..me..i really spend time in prayer and fasting in prayer mountain here in our country..all details of the processing was answered by God.. Calvin was right.. Delight yourself unto the lord.. And he will give the desires of your heart...
Always remember..if we are in the center of God's will..we will be always protected..thanks...
lastly...would you believe...even an immigrations lawyer.. God provides.. with a very cheap prices and mind she is from my church which i did not expect..
thanks again and God bless..
Angie
[Editor's Note: I have heard from many members asking for the dates they both originally joined this website and the dates they started communicating with one another. Sorry, but I only have your original joined dates. If you know you will need a fiance visa, or possibly might when you do meet the right person, please:
1) print out your profile
2) use the MAIL ME A COPY button with each email you send to one another to send yourself a copy of the mails between the two of you.
This is also a good suggestion even if you are not going to need a fiance visa. Couples want a record of their profiles and first emails, etc., when they get married. They don't realize at first that this is the one for them, so they don't save them. So just send yourself everything and then you'll be all set. :)
