I actually met Lowell by accident to be honest... or so I thought back then. Now I see it as GOD's perfect design for our lives ! I was online late one night looking in rooms for someone to talk to. Being separated from my now ex-husband and really just needing a shoulder to cry on... I came upon Lowell in the chat room. We talked a little and found that we both lived in Georgia and then took our conversation to Private Chat.

He too had been involved in a relationship that had gone south and we basically became good friends. Almost like venting buddies. For two years we remained friends and even tried to meet several times without any success. Finally I moved back to my hometown and got my own apartment and ran into Lowell in the chat room once again. We talked and he asked again if he could come visit me. I made excuses for a while, but he did not let up, so finally I said yes on an Monday night.

He said he would see me that Friday night after work. For some reason I did not believe him until I heard a knock on my door about 10 pm Friday evening. Looking out the peep hole I saw him standing there and stepped away from the door in shock. Finally I opened the door and let him in. From there, we started seeing one another at least once a month as friends to begin with... BEST Friends.

Then in January of 2002 we decided that maybe there was more to this so called friendship we had built and became a couple to see if this was what GOD wanted for us. After many talks... tons of prayers... tough trials... and heartfelt tears... we knew what GOD wanted us to do. So, we talked and planned and set a date for July 20th 2003 to get married.... however... we didn't wait that long ! On a trip to his folks house for Thanksgiving 2002 we moved the wedding Date to Jan 5th 2003 instead and began the mad rush to get things planned and in order !

Ya know the sweetest thing ? It all fell in place ... everything went smooth as silk. Yet another sign to us that we were walking in the Lord's Perfect Will for our lives! Yeah, it took some time and effort to get things done in 5 weeks time, but with help from friends, family, and church members it was a "perfect wedding". Now we are all settled in our new home and loving every moment of it. I never knew that love could be this wonderful... I never knew that walking in GOD's will for my life would be so fullfilling. I never knew what I was missing until I married my best friend.

Now I will forever cherish what I have found in GOD and Lowell. My only wish is that I can one day give them back what they have given me.


I give a special thanks to Larry and Nannette for the creation of this web site. For if not for it, Lowell and I wouldn't have had it so easy to find the ONE that GOD wanted for us.

P/S We even had a couple at our wedding that also met on this site that are friends of ours ! See, it can work if you let the Lord lead you !
