I just wanted to thank you for a great site, and for the means to meet the person I believe God intended for me to meet. Wanderingnomore (Sortakindalookn) and I (Beautiflybroken) met in chat during the summer. He had emailed me before that, and I took one look at where he was from (Canada), and said "ummmmmm...huh uh!!" since I lived in California. All I could see was all sorts of problems coming up were anything to come of it- well...seems that God had other ideas! I seldom went into the chatroom, and we ran into each other, and I recalled the email he had sent me. For some reason, I decided to write to him, more as an apology for not writing back and declining before...and he wrote back within 20 minutes of my email, and it never stopped! We were both amazed at how alike we were in so many ways, and how we just seemed to mesh where we weren't... We began chatting on msn messenger, and within a day or two, on the phone- and it went on this way every day in one way or another, and quite often, all three, lol. We spent hours getting to know each other, and learning about each others walk with the Lord, and in September, he came out to California for a month long visit, to see if what we were feeling would carry over into real life. I'm very happy to say that it did, just as we were hoping (and praying) that it would. When it was time for him to go back to Canada, we realized being apart was the last thing in the world either of us wanted, and it was decided that since I was able to visit Canada for a while, that was what I would do..and did! Expect wedding bells sometime in the spring *smiles*. Thanks so much for your wonderful site, and for the wonderful person that I met here. When I wasn't really looking? There he was~
