Keep Your Faith, My Child
I woke up one Sunday morning It seems the sun was not shining First day of the week I am crying My eyes keep the sunlight hiding I felt weak and slowly dying.
It’s been months I stayed on a bed I suffered the pain in my head I am melting like candle stick Can’t walk nor eat, I want a break Doctors can’t point my sickness.
Then I cleared the tears in my eyes And I turned and looked at the sky I asked the Lord, “Why me? Oh, Why?” I heard Him says…”My dearest Child, Keep your faith and you will be fine.”
As I closed my eyes I whisper “I’ll be yours ‘til the day I die.” When I woke up on that same day I realized I’ve gone astray Thank You God for not leaving me.
